the major hotels and in all
the main tourist areas, like Playa El Agua, you will find car rental agencies.
The main location for these agencies is at the Airport
where you will find many different rent-a-car agencies in one spot.
Prices range from the US$30 to US$60 per day all included depending on the car and the length of your rental. Whether you pay in cash or by credit card will also affect the price (local banks have high merchant charges for credit cards). You will usually need the card for the deposit but can then pay in cash. Any valid foreign driver's license will do. You should always carry your passport and driver's license with you while driving around the Island.
